Laurie is the main character of this cast. Laurie just moved to Mystic Falls, and fell head-over-heels in love with Damon Salvatore. Laurie has blond hair that hits a little longer than her collarbone, and pretty blue eyes. Her stature is 5 feet 5 inches. She's a more conservative girl, in jeans and a t-shirt most of the time. In "Chasing Fireflies", Laurie's a vampire out to save her love, Damon.

Damon is the mysterious and sexy vampire that always wears black, and is super cute. His brother is Stefan Salvatore, and some of his past "victims" include Bonnie and Caroline. He has a master plan to become a human, and must use Laurie Colloway as his last victim, and although he slowly falls in love with her he ignores his heart, after past problems with Elena, and does what he thinks is right. Played by Ian Somerhalder.

Stefan is Damon's protective younger brother and Elena's vampire boyfriend. He is compassionate and sweet but can sometimes be over-protective. He tries to look out for everyone in Mystic Falls, and keep Damon in check.

Elena is the only human, besides Laurie, in this cast. She is Stefan's girlfriend, Damon's love, Bonnie's best friend, and Caroline's friend. She is very protective as well, and tries to keep Caroline in check.

Bonnie is Elena's best friend and currently occupies her time as a witch. She is very powerful and not fooled by Damon's charm, though she once was. Bonnie is strong by herself and will choose any option if it means protecting her loved ones: this includes dying.

Caroline is a vampire and Elena's and Bonnie's friend. She is also human Matt's girlfriend, though he doesn't know she's a vampire. She can be rude but she just wants to protect those around her.
