A former prodigy of the Evoy clan, she and her mother were cast out when she was 11 years old, due to the fact that they had the blood of the Adhene. The blood had been dormant for many generations, but because of the mix of Tuatha dè Danaan, the Adhene blood had awoken in Elyza, making her a very gifted being. The Adhene had been enemies of the Tuatha de Danaan at a time before men ruled, thus the Evoy's decision to rid themselves of their prodigy.
