Even though contacting people who aren't involved in a mission is forbidden, whenever one is gone, the other will always call to check in every day, regardless of time zones.

Elizabet Nikula is the first daughter of her parents. Amu Nikula, her father, was given an important job when she six and had since then not been home often. This created many family issues, but her parents still refuse to admit to anything being wrong in their "perfect family". Because neither her mother nor father care about what she does (as long as their image is upheld) she does whatever she wants. Unfortunately, her mother doesn't take care of her younger siblings either. And ranging from four to fourteen, Elizabet spends a lot of time taking care of her family.
