James' bright red hair while normally achieved by dye, is naturally occurring for him. For people with 'the gift' unusual hair colors are a normal occurrence. He is also exceptionally tall-at six foot four. Because of trauma when he was younger James struggles with his mental health, along with other issues. His twin sister is named Angel and she is one of the few people he trusts completely. James is at the school because of arson charges and shoplifting.

Angel is James' twin. She too is unusually tall-topping out at six foot. Coming out of her back are two massive feathered wings. She can fly with them, but often prefers walking, because no one else she knows can fly. She worries about her brother and wishes that she could do something to help him. But because he refuses to let her even try to help. She does her best though. She's at the school because of the use and selling of illegal substances and being around every time her brother got caught; in the eyes of the court, that means she is also responsible.

Liza is an elf and is of average height. She can read minds and is a caring soul because of this. She's at the school because she refuses to follow the elven code. Refusing to be peaceful and live in nature, he parents didn't know what else to do with her, so they sent her to the school. She loves violence and fighting and is very skilled with traditional knives.

Toni is a vampire and has been dating Estella for two years now. They've always been best friends. He worries about Estella, but doesn't yell at her often for it. He originally was sent to the school for substance abuse, drinking the blood of humans-which is forbidden unless under extreme circumstances-and endangering many human lives.

Estella is very short and was born in Italy. She is of very high ranking in the vampire society and her parents run much of the government of the real world. She has been in a relationship with Toni for about two years. She was sent to the school after being arrested multiple times by human police-for almost every offense one can think of. She was tried by the council and found guilty of everything. Because of her parent's high position she wasn't put to death, and instead was shipped off to the English based reform school. Where her behavior hasn't improved much.

Lavi Grey

Lavi wasn't really meant for the school, but his family over-reacts to specific things. Like catching him being just a bit to friendly with another boy. Lavi's mother is a very persistent woman and even though he did not fit the requirements for enrollment-she still got him in. Lavi defiantly has 'the gift' but it has yet to show itself. His eyes are unnaturally blue, and he is also unnaturally short. He hates being so tiny but James finds it endearing.
