Usually goes by "Harley", "Quinn", or any other nickname she has. Harley is Angel's lifelong best friend. The two have known each other since they were both in school together back when they both lived in Georgia. They have been by each other's side through everything, even when Angel's dad passed away and she was forced to live with her mom and stepdad. Harley knows the deepest and darkest secrets of Angel's past and vows to protect her friend at any cost. Harley was deeply saddened when Angel informed her that she was running away, even going to the extend to ask her own family to take her in. Flattered by the offer, Angel turned it down, feeling as though she will be a burden to the Smith family. Harley is one of the rare few that Angel kept in contact with after her departure. Constantly worried about the situation of her best friend, when she graduated high school, Harley convinced her family for her to move to California. Gladly enough, they agreed with the condition that she visits them often as possible. With everything packed and a plane ticket later, the two girls are finally reunited. A few more years later and everything seems to be going perfect for the duo. Harley is doing very well as a make-up artist in San Diego while also bartending with Angel.

Matthew aka "Matt" or "Matty" is Angel's other best friend/adoptive brother and also the father of Callie Noriega. Matthew was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. His mom and dad split when he was young, so he took care of his mother until she got remarried. Matthew was a rebel most of his teenage years, resulting in him almost barely graduating high school. By that time he was in a band and trying to make it big, but no avail. Just as when he was give up on everything, Matt was given some helpful advice from a homeless girl who told him that to never let go of one's dreams, no matter how impossible it may be to achieve it. With that being said, Matt began a friendship with the homeless girl who happens to be Angel. Hate having to see his new required friend in her condition, Matt let Angel stay with his family until she got back on her feet again. After spending time with her, Matt's family decided to adopt Angel as one of their own, knowing that Angel had complications with her real family. Because of the kindness and generosity of Matt's family, Angel was able to finally to get her life back together. Some time later, Matt and his on and off girlfriend break up very badly, but only to find out later that he's gonna be stuck with her for a while because she's pregnant with his kid. Not wanting to do anything with him or their kid, she leaves making Matt a single father. Wanting the best for his kid, Matt makes Angel the child's Godmother, knowing that his daughter needs a role model to replace her bio mom. Matt currently resides in San Diego with his daughter, Callie and Angel, making a living as a tattoo artist while still persuing his love for music.

Callie is the daughter of Matt Noriega and his now ex-girlfriend Natalie. When Callie was born, Natalie gave up all parental rights, leaving the newborn in custody with her father. Being motherless, Matt appointed Angel to be Callie's god mother so that his daughter will know what it's like to have a mother figure around. Callie knows the truth that Angel is not her real mother, but because she raised her as her own, Callie calls her godmother, Angel, "mommy".
