Thalia is an eighteen year old girl from the wealthy Giroux family, a family who helped found the new government in 2057. She has spent her entire life locked up in a mansion due to her father's overprotective nature after her mother was executed for treason. She is innocent, naive, yet brilliant. Her understanding of complex matters is great, but her understanding of social cues is subpar. She has a habit of sticking her nose where it doesn't belong, and her curiosity tends to get her into trouble. However, she has an entourage of intimidating people willing to protect her.

Avery is a hardened, impoverished criminal from West London. What his job entails, nobody's really sure, except that he's damn good at what he does, and he's dipped into every illegal ring at least once. After spending a stint in prison, he was hired by the Brotherhood to perform dangerous and risky tasks (as well as buy groceries for one of the leaders, but that's not something he generally likes to discuss). After meeting Thalia Giroux in the woods, he can't seem to escape her and reluctantly takes the girl under his wing, proving to be one of her only mentors helping to guide her through a strange and unforgiving world.

Sam Cassidy is the eldest son of infamous rebel genius Landon Cassidy, one of the three who formed "The Freedom Fighters." He was abandoned at 7, left to grow up with his mother and younger brother, Dean, but Sam always made it a point to follow in his father's footsteps, determined to live out his legacy. At the age of 21, Sam approached his brother with the idea from the Brotherhood. He hid out in the abandoned metro tunnels, beginning to live down there. To call Sam a hermit would be an understatement; despite his shy nature, Sam is a genius in every sense of the word. He just doesn't know how to socialize, but he's trying to work on it.

Dean Cassidy

Dean Cassidy is a 24-year-old military prodigy and also the second leader of the Brotherhood resistance. Unlike his brother, Dean didn't take well to his father's abandonment and did everything in his power to break free of the Cassidy reputation. He joined the military and suffered harsh training for a year, eventually growing to be highly regarded by the League and Commander Conor Kennedy. Following Conor's death, Clinton Kennedy grew very impressed with Dean and is looking to put him on the Board, unknowing of the fact that Dean is a rebel spy. Dean is known for never sticking to the plan and making things up as he goes along.
