Emery Gillian, lead singer of the alternative rock group, Makeshift Maylene. The girls of Makeshift Maylene will be playing the "Escape to the underground" stage; it's one of the smallest stages at the festival, specifically for local bands. Emery, though born in Southern California, moved to England at the age of 7. She and fellow MM member Angela Gideon formed the band in their second year of High School. Since the formation, Emery, Angela, Toots, Erica, and Beats have taken the local scene by storm. Emery is the foul mouthed, brutally honest, extrovert of the group. She is a kind girl, but she doesn't care for nonsense.

Angela Gideon, one of the founders of Makeshift Maylene. She's peppy, and optimistic. The girls of MM often refer to her as "giggles." Emery stated in an interview with Kerrang! "I've known Angela for many years, I met her when I was ten, never once has that girl dropped her smile." Angela plays lead guitar and sings background vocals.

"That crazy, drunk, Irish bitch!" was what Angela and Erica replied when asked about Toots. Toots was always rebellious, always care free, did what she wanted, when she wanted. She's not really an alcoholic but she never shyster away from a good time. Toots plays the bass.

Erica Knowls, guitarist for Makeshift Maylene, she's the sweetest of the group, never tries to offend anyone in interviews. Often tells Emery to not be so foul mouthed, Erica is very well mannered, a mild, timid girl.

Renny, the quiet member of MM, Renny bangs it out on the drum, but has never spoken a word to media, press, even on stage. She's an introvert at the highest form. Only the other girls of MM have heard her speak, not even local fans have heard her voice.
