He can be playful at times, but more often than not, carries himself with a calming serenity that affects everone around him. He greets everyone with a kind smile and when Orcus and Bartram have an argument, he is often the voice of reason.

  Ophelia is the Queen of the Vampyre race and the wife of Bartram. She is kind and sweet, finding Astoria's naivette about the world around her endearing. She has no children of her own, though she has tried numerous times. Because of this she carries with her a certain sadness.

  Quynn is the youngest son of Athidon and Emvorele and younger brother of Aesar. He is often called 'The Young Philosopher.' He is often quiet and while others mistake this for a type of shyness it is more because he is always thinking and his thoughts are deep. When he speaks it is something worth listening to.

  Umon is Orcus' younger sister and Astoria's best friend. She's eager to see her brother and Astoria get together and form a loving relationship like her mother and Father had. Though many think she may have some alterior motive since she's so pushy, she doesn't. She just wants to see her brother be happy and she thinks Astoria is simply the woman to do it.
