Family: Verity lives with the Bennets in Texas but moved to New York to pursue her ballet talent. She still visits and is part of the Bennet family. She has no clue of her biological parents and doesn't have any desire to know as of now. History: Verity's biological parents are Claude Rains and Vera Vesper. Both who are evolved humans that are able to turn invisible and create forcefields and manipulate energy, respectfully. Claude Rains and Vera Vesper had a one-night stand after heavily drinking in a bar in England that led to the conception of Verity. Vera was visiting England to visit extended family. Claude abandoned Vera after realizing what he did since he was married to a woman named Sylvia. Vera couldn't abort the baby and settled to raising her. But after three years, Vera was unable to take care of the baby because of financial and family problems with her immediate family. Vera moved herself and Verity to Kermit, TX to her grandmother's so Vera can take care of Verity better. After meeting Meredith Gordon with the similar problem they became friends. Vera and Meredith visited each other regularly to hang out and take care of their kids together. Vera contacted Claude several times to tell him about Verity's existence and update her about her genes. After Vera realized the chances of Verity to become an evolved human were high because of her status was well as his, she told Claude. Claude was shocked and distraught. Verity's potential ability began to change Claude's view of the Company and the evolved humans. Claude became hesitant to follow the Company's orders after seeing his daughter in the assignments he was given. After Verity turned six, the fire broke out of the apartment. Meredith was being tailed by the Company. The Company had caught on to her ability. But when the Company realized another evolved human, Vera was with Meredith, they attacked. The fire started after Meredith accidentally let a fire ball out to the apartment building. Meredith ran after the fire rapidly consumed her apartment. Meredith believed Vera, Verity and Claire perished because of the power she put behind the fire ball and escaped in fear and shame because she caused this to happen in her 'new life'. The fire scorch the entire place. Vera used all her power to create a force field around Claire and Verity and to kill the agents after being pinned down to by the ceiling and realized that she would perish. The force field lasted long enough for Claude Rains and Noah Bennet to arrive after the two agents that were tailing Vera and Meredith didn't report back. Realizing the force field power and Verity's looks, Claude recognizes that the six-year-old girl is Verity. Claude, in fear, hides Verity as Meredith's first child. Claude volunteers Noah Bennet to adopt the two children so he would be able to monitor his daughter by telling Kaito Nakamura of Noah's wife's fertility problems. Kaito Nakamura's wife gave Verity the catalyst for the jump to human to evolved human. After the years, Claude rebels more against the company because of his increasing guilt of Verity. Verity thrives under the Bennet household and is unable to remember the fire later on but keeps the fact that she is adopted. Noah Bennet is forced to deal with Claude's termination and Claude fakes his death for Verity. Claude begins a new life in New York where he begins to teach evolved humans how to control their power and hide from the Company. He sometimes visits Verity invisible and leaves her gifts when it was safe for him. Verity grew up with the Bennets not realizing her powers. Since as a child, she was smarter and more advanced. She began to use her powers unknowingly. She began to wish for more intellect and the ability to become a ballet dancer (reflexes, flexibility, muscle mimcry, stamina and endurance) after watching a program on the television. Realizing her (obtained) intellect, Verity withdrew from the family to a quiet/shy version of herself. She took ballet as an outlet and a hobby. She began to excel in school and finish high school at age 15. She took up ballet as an outlet and decided to pursue a career in it. She signed/enrolled with a ballet company in Houston, TX at age 6 and began to learn/work. She was scouted a year later after a teacher in New York Ballet School heard of her amazing talent in ballet. She saved her money which she earned from the Houston Ballet Company and moved to New York with Noah Bennet until she was 19. Noah Bennet moved back to Odessa, Texas after being sure that Verity would be okay alone. She now lives alone with frequent updates to the Bennets. Noah Bennet gives Verity money every month to help her pay her way through ballet career. Claire sometimes visits Verity when there is a three-day-weekend from school. She visits them for holidays and celebrations. She keeps in regular contact with Claire and is a role model for her. Alliance: Heroes but won't betray Gabriel/Slyar. Status: Alive.
