A very confused girl who has no recollection of her past bar a few years, Rose is very good at adapting to new environments. She has a strong will and vibrant spirit that she takes wherever she goes. If anyone whom she considers friend is put in danger, she will jump out of her comfort zone in an instant to help them. What she isn't aware of however, is that she holds a mysterious and ancient power that could be the answer to all of her questions. Once the mighty ruler of Egypt, now simply a spirit within a puzzle. Known as Yami at the start of the story because his true name is unknown, Atem can only exist in this world as Yugi's other half. His past is unknown, apart from the knowledge that he was once a King. His only known purpose is to aid Yugi in protecting the Duel Monsters world from evil, but he never expected a twist in the form of a brown eyed girl.
