Ava Marie Khane-Baker was the wife/mate of Zacky Baker "Vengeance". One of the lords of bat country. Everyone assmumed she died after being bitten by Jacoby, Jimmy and Zacky. She didn't they buried her and left the whole coven moved to another house as it was way to painful for any of them to stay there. Ava was dug up and brought back to life by a witch who needed her hybrid to do her part. She's angry that they all just left her behind when the moved. A storm is coming that is going to shake Bat country and all who live there.

Zacky is one of the rulers of Bat Country. He's a vampire who is in his late Thousand's. Since his mate died almost two years ago Zacky has really taken to his nickname "Vengeance." He's turn cold to almost everyone except Dylan and Grace. He has one night stands almost every single night he's turned into something he swore he'd never turn into.

Dylan is Ava's best friend. She took it the hardest when she "died" She's married to Brian Haner Jr. "Syn" she is the mother of Grace Haner. She's still a rather new born vampire but she has more control then most seasoned vampires.

Brian is one of the ruler's of bat country "Syn" he is Zacky's best friend and is trying to pull him out of the funk he is in. He is the more "vicious" ruler in the people's mind. He's got a weak spot for his wife and daughter they see sides of him nobody else see's.
