Madeleine is often called to as 'Maddy' or 'Mad Dog' if she's in a bad mood. Her personality is confident and outgoing. Others are annoyed by her slightly arrogant and sarcastic side but her reply is "Haters gonna Hate". Even though Alex has known Maddy for 7 years, Alex has yet to meet any relative of Maddy, Not even her parents. She hasn't even been over to her house. Alex witnessed her mother's death when she was young. They were in the subway tunnels when they got robbed and then shot her mother. Though Alex was very young she still remembers that day. Later on when Alex turns 10 her father went off to work and never returned. He vanished and after many restless searches of the police, they never even found a body. Her older sister Judy took place as Alex's legal guardian since she's 4 years older than Alex. Alex's personality is slightly awkward. She rather be staring at a TV screen all day then socialize.
