They lived in their small town in Tennessee until Macy turned eighteen. Matt married his high school sweetheart, Melody years earlier and Melody got a job in New York, Matt, Melody, and their five year old son, Mason all moved their. Two years later, Matt and Melody were in a terrible car accent that left their son orphaned. Macy ended up with full custody of her nephew at the age of twenty. Macy has done the best she can for Mason but she had to quit photography school to raise him. She’s more of an older sister figure to him but she tries! She doesn’t believe in ghosts and originally thinks that Zak’s job is completely outlandish. But, she gives him a chance and joins him on a lockdown.
