John is the son of famous NHL player Brad Richards. Hockey is in his blood and there is nothing he wont do for his team. when he isn't dominating the ice. John is messing around with his best friend Brody Leipi, trying to cause as much trouble at school as possible. Not your average jock, John is quite a deep thinker and sometimes stays up at night contemplating thins that are troubling him, events that are currently going on around him, or choices he has made.

His dad got him into hockey at a young age and,although he says he misses him a little Brody never likes to see his dad go on deployment and often stays up late at night worrying about him.
