Spencer Grace Monroe is the second oldest daughter of the three Monroe girls. She never liked the way her mother and grandpa pushed her so on the day she is supposed to marry her long time boyfriend, she runs. On her way to Los Angeles, where she wants to start her OWN life, she meets a handsome tattooed stranger. The two spend a night of fun and excitement and promise to meet each other again in 5 years time. 5 years later Spencer still vividly remembers the night she spent with her 'Thunder'. He left many marks on her life, one of them is 4 years old and looks exctly like her dad. Spencer wants nothing more to find the stranger and tell him about his daughter, but it's hard to do that when you don't know his name and when your boyfriend is quite unamused with the whole situation.

Austin is at a pretty bad point in his life when he picks up the gorgeous runaway bride. Something about her draws him in and he gets lost in her beautiful ice blue eyes. He promises her to make this THEIR NIGHT and to show her what it means to truly be alive. Eventually they end up in a bed in a cheap motel room. But both of them wont ever forget that night and the promise they made to meet again 5 years later. 5 years down the road. Austin isn't the insecure unsuccessful musician anymore. He's a rock star now. But as much as his life changed, he never forgot about the beautiful girl from that night 5 years ago. He sincerely hopes she got everything she wished for. And as the time gets close to their 5 year 'anniversary' Austin gets nervous and excited to see what's become of her, or if she even remembers him.

Little Zoey is 4 years old and a few more months on top. She's a very smart and curious kid who loves to learn and discover new things. She's always well behaved and an all-around sweetheart. Spencer protects the apple of her eye like a brave lioness. Zoey loves Liam (her mom's boyfriend) but wishes he would be more like a daddy, and more than anything, she wants to meet her real dad one day. Oh and she's terribly afraid of dogs for some reason.
