She was born and raised in England but chose to move to America after finishing her studies to be closer to her friends in Canada who she met through Summer Camp also who she met Claude Giroux Captain of the Philidelphia Flyers and through him went on to met Jakub Voracek.

Oh she's also the girlfriend of Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby.
