He came to America to open his own pub, and is the only "pub" in New York so he calls his pub, The Drunken ***, believe it or not he's gotten multiple complaints about the name. He hired Joan when she was 19 as a waitress, once she hit 21 he promoted her to bartending part time, but later became the official bartender since she does it so well.
