His jaw becomes taut and I feel that I've asked the wrong question. He licks his lips and forces a small smile. "Me? I haven't really had any love interests since I fell. Kind of ironic huh?"

I slowly glance up at the man's body. His trousers were white, matching his jacket and a light blue dress shirt underneath. His face was chiseled and clean, but his sharp eyes and messy blonde hair gave him the completely wrong look. The man gleams, a dimple appearing along his cheek, but it only spelled bad news.

When we enter, there's a new member of the group that I don't recognize. He was splayed across the counter with an arm behind his head, despite Riley's protest for him to buzz off. He was flirting up Ravenna with a dazzling smile. He had dimples and a five o' clock shadow obscuring his well structured jaw. His hair was dark and strategically ruffled, matching his dark jeans and even darker eyes. Holy shit.

A woman with platinum blonde hair and bright red lipstick appears and she smirks. "Glad I was invited to the party," she says in a sickly sweet voice. That definitely wasn't Kalle. She was worse.

His black eyes were what the universe would look like without the sun. They were dark and endless, blacker than any I've ever seen, as if the Abyss itself lived within him. I could tell by the sly crook of his smile that he's been expecting me all this time. He's waited for the moment to finally watch me burn. "Lexi," he hums as he stands before me, removing the cigarette from his lips. "How I've been waiting to meet you."
