Lacey Blackburn was born and raised in Riverside, California. Lacey is the oldest of her siblings, her sister Jayde being the youngest. When Jayde was ten and Lacey was twelve, they lost their parents in a car accident. They went to live with their grandmother in Philadelphia, PA. Lacey started skateboarding when she turned thirteen and she found skateboarding to be an escape for her. When she turned eighteen, Blackburn became rebellious and she was partying a lot and drinking and taking drugs. One day when she had been kicked out of a bar, she met Bam Margera and Rob Dyrdek. Bam and Rob got Blackburn off the streets and they took her under Element's and DC's sponsorship, so she could skate and get paid to do it. And Kat Von D took her in as a floor manager at her tattoo shop, High Voltage. When Blackburn had turned twenty- she met Avenged Sevenfold frontman, M. Shadows at a party that was thrown for her, they became drinking buddies and ended up dating for two years, M. Shadows became sober and wanted a family, Blackburn became pregnant and lost the baby- causing them to break up. And when she was on a headlining tour with Tony Hawk, she met Blaze and she got into a rather abusive and destructive relationship with him. Blaze used her for sex and he beat her and he left her with scars on her body. Blackburn left Blaze after two years of abuse and she vowed to end her life because she couldn't live this way she ended up in and got depressed until one night when Bam took her to his venue, The Note and he introduced her to Andy Biersack of Black Veil Brides. After that fateful night at The Note, Andy and Blackburn fell in love. Blackburn knew that Andy was the one for her because she told him her darkest secrets and he never left her side because of them. He fixed what has broken and lost within her and that he's also a hopeless romantic as she is. He saved her from what she had planned to do when there wasn't anyone who could save her and tell her that what she was going to do wasn't the right way to fix it. He accepted her for who she is- her scars, nightmares and insecurities, regardless of the darkness that had become a cage around her. Because of that, Andy called her 'Faith' because he knew that she always had a bit of faith within her and to show her that she can heal from the pain that she went through. Blackburn, in return, called him 'Moonlight' or 'Light' because he became the moon that guided her out of the darkness and became her saviour. Blackburn and Andy were later married by Rob Dyrdek at the Fantasy Factory and she then gave up her skateboarding career for music. And the best way that she could become her own artist is through The Voice. Lacey auditioned with a dark cover of Pink's "F**kin' Perfect" which wowed her coach and got Christina Aguilera to also turn her chair. For the battle rounds- Blackburn sealed her place on Team Adam with a powerful duet of "Drown In You" by Daughtry. Which fit her really well because she found it to be the song that best described her struggling with PTSD and Andy having to save her from herself. The Knockout Round- Blackburn advances with a raw performance of "Through Glass" by Stone Sour, that even received praise from their frontman, Corey Taylor. For The Live Shows- Blackburn covered "Safe and Sound" by Taylor Swift, which was a huge turn around for her because she has such a voice for Rock. The message of "Safe and Sound" is her way of interpreting how Andy has comforted her in times of darkness and she dedicates the song to Andy. The rest of the Live Performances- "Don't Speak" by No Doubt, "Sweet Sacrifice" by Evanescence- which was a song that Blackburn dedicated to her ex who caused her all the pain she faced.
