Laney has been dating Cash since she was 19 and he was 23. She always knew she wanted to be a part of Cash's Purge Party as soon as she turned 21 despite knowing the risks that could come along with walking the streets for those 12 hours. This year's Purge just so happens to fall right on Laney's 21st birthday and she's only asked for one thing...to go hunting with Cash and his group so she can not only see what it's all about but possibly seek revenge on the father that abused her and abandoned her when she was young.

The only thing he is not open about is what happens during those 12 hours. With this year's Purge taking place on Laney's 21st birthday he must make the decision of whether or not she can follow his group or risk her going out alone now that she is of age.

Mikael is the group leader of Cash's Purge Party. He considers himself a hunter only going after those that have done him wrong in the past. Mikael is known to have quite a temper and will stop at nothing to conclude his Purge night with blood on his hands. Ever since Cash started dating Laney Mikael has had his eyes on her wanting not only for her to join the group but also, her body for himself.
