Nadeen is your typical college student; drinks too much coffee, stays up too late, and has the occasional drink or six. She comes from a small shore town in Massachusetts and goes to school in Boston. She's currently majoring in Journalism but doesn't know if that's exactly what she wants to do with the rest of her life. Her mother is a published author, her father, an English teacher so naturally it seems it would be her calling. She's taking a gap year hoping she can figure out what she wants to do with life because right now she doesn't want to do anything.

Simone was born and raised in the suburbs of Paris, France by Haitian immigrants. She was three credits away from graduating university before unexpectedly dropping out much to her parents' chagrin. She majored in economics because she was relatively good at the coursework but ultimately hated it. She has a sister living in Germany who always offers for her to come out and visit for a bit, hoping she'll get back on track with her life, but Simone always declines the invitation. She's currently in-between jobs, getting paid minimum wage proofreading medical articles for publication. She hates it but the flexibility can't be beat.
