    DEA agent. Born in Medellin, Colombia to Antonio and Marisol Giménez. Her father was an officer in the Colombian National Police, but because he didn't make much time for his family/was too devoted to his job, Elena's mother decided to move her and her little brother, Luís, to the US when Elena was 14. Elena grew up in Miami, and when she was old enough started pursuing a career in law enforcement, eventually making her way to being employed as a DEA agent. A lot of her choice in career is owed to her father's influence and her desire to spite her mother for moving them out of Colombia.

    Answering to either Junior or Luís, he's the youngest of the Giménez children. Five years younger than Elena, he adjusted far better to leaving Colombia for Miami. Chosing to embrace the new opportunities given to him as he got older, he worked hard and earnes himself a full ride scholarship for soccer. Deciding that he wanted to do something where he could make a difference like his sister, but not wanting to follow in his father and sister's footsteps, he pursued a career in education and is a high school teacher. Though he constantly worries about her, he is completely supportive of Elena, and shares her desire to see an end to the surge of drug related violence.
