It was so much different from everything I've encountered on here, seriously. I liked the fact it was brief, without any unnecessary digressions and over-the-top metaphors and comparisons, yet you achieved the desired effect. The whole atmosphere of latent insanity and suspense was overpowering, and you pulled it off without confusing the reader too much. The seemingly detached narrative as a great move on your side too, it really added to the general atmosphere of the story. And there was that bit that I loved, the ending of one chapter when he said the Fifth Symphony stopped, or ended, I can't recall. But it made some sort of impression on me and set the mood for me even more.
