This is probably one of my favorite chapters
Even though Nick and Emilee pass notes and he walks her to work and all, but to me, that scene by the lockers and by the talent sign-ups was the real start of their relationship.
And I think Emilee is getting a little bit of a crush on him, but of course she would never admit it to herself. But I think Nick has liked her since he first laid eyes on her.
Ahh and Joe. He has a knack for interrupting special moments. Gah. hahaha :)
I can't wait to see where you and Hannahuno are going with all of this :D

First of all, thank you for using my banner! Second, that had to be my favourite scene. It reminds me of the phrase, "To the world, you may just be one person. To one person, you may be the world." It was so sweet and written with such love and empathy... it was so amazing. I love how you added the bridge into the chapter... it made me sigh with content.

This story is too amazing for words. I must say, the fact that the updates are so long somewhat make up for the fact that this is hardly ever updated.

And I'm curious to find out if this mysterious 'Cole' that Joe was talking is a referance to another story or just a coincidence :D

I literally just sat here for a whole minute, re-reading the first few paragraphs, wondering how she could see the clock and write the lyrics. Then I realized that she's deaf, not blind. I'm so stupid. (shakes head)

Have I ever told you how much I love the name Emilee? Well, I do :D

Emilee blushed and turned away after reading the words on his lips. She blushed. HEHE. :XD

She should have expected something like that from him, but he still caught her off gaurd. You spelled 'guard' wrong, but I'm pretty sure you know how to spell it, so I'm not going to tell you :P

And now I just realized that I just told you how to spell it. Once again, I'm so dumb.

When I lost my hearing, I fell into this pit of depression. Especially after..." she trailed off again before shaking her head, finding that particular sentence too much for her to say. NOW I WANT TO KNOW! ::Ranting:

She unlatched it carefully before setting the violin gingerly inside the velvet foam. There's that adjective again! AHAHA!

Emilee inhaled through her nose and closed her eyes. The images filled the space behind her eyelids, playing like a silent movie, but she didn't dare watched it. I'm marrying those two sentences. BRILLIANT!

"He left when I turned eight. The moment he found out I was losing my hearing, he apparently decided he couldn't handle it and left. I haven't heard from him or even about him in eight years." HOLY SHEET! AHHHHHHHHH! NOOOOO! MEAN, MEAN, DAD! GRRRRRRR. ::Ranting:
