I love the simplicity of the narrator's actions. I can tell she's saying, "I do the same things you do, so why are you treating me any different. I can take my dog out just as someone who was born into the right gender can".

The most prominent thing I noticed though is your refreshing, unique writing style. It's so eloquent, I simply adore it! You're an extremely blessed writer!!

    God Bless,

    xoxo

I felt inspired before reading this, just glancing at the layout and reading the summary and the quote, it was just inspiring.

Something I really enjoyed about this story was the fact that in the third paragraph you wrote the words, same as you and in the last line, you addressed the reader, the people that oppose things like this or just anyone again, who are you to tell me any different? I think that those small things were just something that got the point across very well.

As I said at the beginning of this comment, this is inspiring. It really shouldn't be though, in my yes because no one should feel the need to defend themselves against the ignorance of other people; but it was inspiring to me because some people do have to live with this and they should be able to say, "I'm a girl because I see myself as one," without any judgement or dirty looks. I feel that the character portrayed in this story is so strong, and it just makes me happy, good job.

Okay, so I've stumbled across this again. I wanted to update my comment on this.
This appeals to me because my on-again-off-again boyfriend is transgender, and wants to have the sex-change operation. (ftm) I have a more knowledgeable view point when I am reading your story this time. He has been through so much because of simply wanting to be who he is, and this story seems to capture it so perfectly, and also the fact that it's not really a decision of "oh, well I want to be the opposite gender," it is something that has been there and isn't a disease or a sickness or a decision. It is just who they are. Other than that, anything else I can say has been thoroughly said (an in much better ways than I could ever express) in the other comments.

This was really..hmm, I'm not sure how to describe it. I loved it though and the way it was written makes it more powerful. Definitely not like anything else I've ever read, and I probably wouldn't have read it, but I'm glad I did. It was amazing.

I was kinda iffy when I saw the description, but I decided to read it anyways. Not many people can pull writing about trans-gender people very well since it's such an iffy topic. But you definitely mastered it. I really like it. :)

This is really powerful. I felt I could relate to it (despite the fact that I am not wanting to be any other sex than what I am).
The sentence "Who are you to tell me any different?" was my favorite, I think.
I really liked this. It's beautiful, really.

You helped me rethink sex changes. This is incredibly powerful even for its simplicity; awesome job.

In Love <--- That right there pretty much covers it.

And you. Who are you to tell me any different?

Though I love the whole thing, I love that line the most.

I hate how so many people are so ignorant on this subject. =\

I really, really like this. :] It was written very well and it makes a very precise and realistic point. I wish the whole world could read this and believe it like I do.

    Short, and slightly unstory-ish.
More like you were telling me a bunch of facts than a fictional story. But I think that was how it was supposed to be written. Probably should have extended on it more, to make the idea that the character was a girl more believeable rather than the short undescriptiveness that almost made it sound rude..

I love the last line though And you. Who are you to tell me any different?. OSM!

I read the original conversation that sparked this, I also got into an arguenment with that person about this after the thread posts. I agree with you wholeheartedly, story wise short but intense. :)

And you. Who are you to tell me any different?

Powerful. I loved this, because the ignorance in that thread was terrible.

The simplicity of this is amazing. It's not all dressed up with fancy words and sentences. And best of all, the character seems real. They aren't named or really given any qualities - but it's just... they seem like someone who's been through enough to know exactly what they want, who they are.

It all depends on my mood, same as you.
It's just... this conveys a great message and you wrote a great story about a touchy subject.

    You're amazing.
