I loved all of the descriptions of the water. It almost seemed, to me, like it was something she should be afraid of. You used the phrase liquid death, which I completely adored. If we hadn't known previously how she felt about the water, that would've told us everything we needed to know.
I liked the interactions between Allie and Zi. It really displayed the friendship, you know?
I get the impression that Zi's phobia is holding her back a little, seeing as Allie's the one who is talking about how much she likes this guy, Chet, while Zi...doesn't mention anything about her own love life.
So, yeah, I really liked this. Especially the stage directions. It was different, and it made a nice change to what I'm used to. =)

it was a little hard to follow, but I liked how you set it up like a script for a movie with the camera pans and the setting details.

    Whoa.

I may never want to step into water again. :shifty

That was really good, though I'm sure you're well aware of that. Call me morbid, but I liked how she died in the end. It just fit. :)

    Good job and good luck!

I liked that. The ending was unexpected, but cool because she faced her fear. Part of me wonders why, though, or am I missing something from the story?

This is a very good story and I really like the content within it. It's unique and provides a perspective I do not often see. There is a lot of description and I really like how well the scenery is. The ending is surprising and ironic and is written well. I'm a little surprised by the narratives throughout the chapter but I believe they help. I would definitely like to see more of this story!
