    I just stumbled across this, and I love it :) Very heartbreaking, really well done.
    In my head Gerard cheated on Frankie, and that's not just because I'm a sucker for hurt!Frank but also because I can't see Frank cheating - he's too loyal, Gerard on the other hand I could see giving in to temptation.
    I love the way you left it open to the reader's interpretation.

    It breaks my heart to say Gerard, but I think he cheated.
    it was the 'interest in work' that did it for me,
    the minute you said that I got an image of gerard hunched over a half finished comic.

    anyway, poor 'frank', this story as a whole was short but written beautifully.
    and when you said 'trophy' I had an image of gerard holding frank up to a crowd for some reason 0_0

    i dissagree with the above ... i think it was Frank who cheated on Gerard ... even though Frank has tatts doesnt mean his skin is untouched ... i think i saw it was untouched as in under their skin ... not so much the apparance......
    And it was Gerard who had the broken heart ....

    Thats just what i saw happening .... can you tell me who cheated ... i would love to know ???

    looks like gerard cheated and frank is heart broken because it mentions somewhere in there about untouched skin which infers to pure skin with no tatts
