Thanks. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. This is a pretty emotional piece for me, since it was based on truth. A quote from my grandparents actually sparked it (and was included), and I'm still kinda sad thinking about it since my grandpa died 2 months later. So it really does mean a lot that this struck a chord with you.

i loved that ending.
i absolutely loved this, as i love all your writing. your oneshots give so much detail, yet simple and to the point. they leave me wanting more, but knowing that if i did get more, it'd completely ruin what is there.

just the thought of them being old and frail frightens me. they're nearing forty, and they're still running around stage, jumping higher than i probably ever have (and i'm in the prime of my youth).
i feel this story is true to their friendship, even if it is based off a romantic relationship. i have this feeling that billie will want to be there every fucking second, forcing pills down mike's throat.
