Stockholm Syndrome - Comments

  • I am writing a story involving a case of Stockholm Syndrome so I decided to look through other peoples stories just to see if other people wrote about it.
This is definitely one of the best I have read, I must say.
It was absolutely lovely the way your portrayed things and metaphorically tossed bits into the picture. I adore the way you truly show how she saw exactly what she was doing, knowing that the consequences for her actions would brand her skin forever, yet she forced herself into it all. I love the how at the very end she speaks so much of wanting to leave, how she is so fed up and tired with everything he has done to her, how she finally makes it out of the house unnoticed and slips into the streets where she is free to seep into the backdrop and disappear and yet despite her determination the simple phrase "I'm sorry" is muttered and she can't help but find her self walking right back into the arms of her captor. Her choice.

This was absolutely amazing and I adore it (:
    Beautifully written.

  • I love your sense of comparison.
Like, how the metaphors fit so perfectly within the story, though I don't see them as a part of it because they're just so well written.
AGHHHHH, I want to know what happens to the narrator.
    (:
