And, just so you know, I loved the way you ended it. Even if it's so bittersweet because here you have Kennedy being his sweet, adorable self, and then she's so diggin' him and lovin' him. Since I'm convinced that she's only using that whole 'oh, I've only got the summer left' excuse as a way to hide behind the fact that she SO REALLY LIKES HIM. Plus, Kennedy was adorable with his trying to reassure her.

I agree with Catastrophe. Molly does freak out a lot. The girl needs to calm down, but I get why she was so nervous. Meeting your boyfriend's mother is an awkward experience. Kennedy's mom seemed passive towards her. She's rubbing off on me in a slightly bad way, but I could be wrong about her. I wonder why Kennedy didn't say "girlfriend." Hmm, interesting. So many layers to unfold still.

Also, I loved this quote: I had the will to turn my head and glare at him. “Kennedy you’ve-not-told-me-your-middle-name Brock,” I imitated. “you’re acting too reasonable.”
^I thought it was hilarious, shows Molly's got personality. I adore it<3

The end was bittersweet b/c she keeps thinking about how's she's going back to California soon. She should enjoy the time she has with Kennedy. He absolutely adores her, it's noticeable. He's so sweet. He went from jerk to cutie pie. aha x')
Can't wait to read more, it's one of my favorites to read on this site for sure.

poor thing. she spends all that time freaking out, and kennedy spends all that time trying to reassure her, and then he fails at his promises, in an epic way. his mom obviously didnt like her, and he obviously had an issue admitting she's his girlfriend, if she even is. and then she remembers she's leaving soon. :(

I love this alot and I can't wait to read more you really are a great writer.

The fact that Kennedy's so affectionate makes him 10x more adorable than he already was.
Plus, I understand why Molly's so pessimistic thinking this relationship between her and Kennedy is simply a summer fling. I hope it's not a summer fling and by the looks of it, Kennedy doesn't think so either. I'm happy that Molly and Mia made up too. It was funny in a way how they went from yelling at each other and then at the end be like "i'm sorry." that's usually how sisters make up after they fight. aha.

I've been terrible, terrible, terrible about commenting. I feel bad about that too cause all the updates have been super amazing and deserved all kinds of comments. And this update really kind of hit home with me a bit. The relationship between Mia and Molly kind of reminds me of the relationship between too people close to me (at least the fight thing). And it's funny cause one of them never apologizes for anything she does, so I thought that was pretty funny.

ANYWAY, from the previous chapters, they were all pretty great. I especially liked the chapter where Molly and Kenny finally got together. And no, not because they got together, I just like the way it played out, it was really cute. The fight kind of made me giggle, not gonna lie.

I hope you update again soon! I really do love this story. (:

I like that we get to understand her confusion and feelings better in this one. Although, it's kind of sad that she's thinking of her relationship with Kennedy as being on this timer of when she leaves and how much she has with him. Because I don't think he's necessarily looking at it that way (or at least it doesn't seem like he is), and she should just let things happen and not worry about when she's going to leave and what their relationship will be then after she does. I'm also convinced that Kennedy would fight her on breaking up, because it seems like he really likes her...of course, Garrett would likely beat the shit out of him if he let her go, too. Lol.
AND, she's going to meet his mommy! That's cute. I'm thinking it could go really well, and his mom could love her and they'd get along and she'd learn more about Kennedy...or it could go really bad and her mom could disapprove of their summer fling thing and not really like her. And I just got this horrible idea that, if his mom did like Molly and was like, teasing Kennedy about her, he could be like "oh c'mon, this is a summer fling, nothing serious" and Molly could hear that and get really hurt, even if that was what she was thinking, too. But then she could realize that her feelings for him were definitely more than just some summer infatuation (because I'm convinced they are/will be), and her pessimistic side would be right and they'd be all sad without the other, and she could go to Garrett and he'd comfort her. And then Kennedy would get all jealous, freak out, and finally spill the beans on how he didn't mean any of that and he doesn't think they're just fooling around.
Yep. That's how I think it should go. Hahaha.
UPDATE AGAIN SOON! I'm going to try to work on my Kennedy story today/tomorrow, if that helps your enthusiasm to continue.

amazing Kennedy stories are hard to come by on this site.
I mean, there are awesome ones, but this one is gooooood
I think that it's sweet the way he took her to a vegan bakery & how he got her a flower & howwwww.... how i don't know. I think it's good that he actually listened to her before & how he took back, in his own way, the whole comment he made about her when they were shopping.

Oh, & I agree/ -Kate was too protective, Bianca was just a provoking bitch, and that The Little Mermaid cake should win when the clock struck five- I totally watched all of these.

Awwww, he got her a flower!!! That's too cute. Basically, even if you think this chapter is just 'meh', I disagree. It was really cute and makes me love Kennedy even more, haha. I like that he's really trying and has gotten a chance to explain himself to her, and that she is seeing the real him now. And, when she realized he'd taken her to a vegan bakery, that's just adorable too. He actually does listen to her and wants things to work out. It's endearing.
I'm super glad you updated this, and because of that, I'm going to post part two of my own Kennedy story for you! (That, and I finished writing it in Math this morning and want to post it, but ehhh). So update again soon!!!

That was incredibly sweet what Kennedy said at the end & the flower he gave her. Makes my stomach do flips just like Molly. The boy's amazing<3 I love how they both wanted to be in their best behavior so they wouldn't have a silly fight. It was simply an adorable chapter since they're so cute together (:
I found it funny about a flower receiving a kiss on the cheek and then the chocolate gets full mouth action. It was priceless x')
