this is an important chapter i feel like. gerard probably wanted to beg for forgiveness as frank should've been sleeping. but he breaks down instead. is there going to be a confession? or is frank going to continue to blame himself for causing gerard to drink?

That really was beautiful.
With everything that goes on with Frank, everything he is put through and everything he suffers, it is usually Gerard who is the one to look after him.
Something I love about this story is that although Gerard is the more naturally dominant, stable and supportive one, there are still times when they have to switch roles, and Frank has to be this one.
I've noticed that many authors choose one person in the relationship to have all of the problems, and the other one to be a perfect person who supports them through it.
At times, Gerard really does seem to treat Frank perfectly in this story, and always look after him, but this is only because Frank's problems are more obvious and noticeable.
You always manage to bring us back to reality by proving that Gerard has problems too, and that Frank certainly is very good at looking after him and comforting him too.
It's really refreshing to read about such a selfless, supportive relationship, where the responbility is shared in a healthy way.
Though the update was short, it was very sweet, and reading anything from this story is just a joy, no matter what the length is.
I really can't wait to read more - thanks for today's, and I'm anticipating the next!

i'm glad that frank thought of that idea about his dad using it against him. but i feel like he should get checked out. i don't want something else to be wrong with him :(

but i thought it was a good chapter, perhaps a bit too short for my liking, but awesome nonetheless :)

Aww, I felt so bad for Frank!
I understood why he wouldn't have wanted to go to the hospital, though - his father already insults how the Way's have been looking after Frank, and how he doesn't think they're suitable guardians (like he is!), and this would've only given him more "evidence".
I'm glad the Donna or Donald allowed Frank to make the decision and didn't force it.
Although the paramedic said it wasn't mandatory (or at least that it was their choice), it was strongly recommended, and I really hope that by avoiding this, Frank won't be affected negatively.
Anyway, the chapter was great, and I don't think it was a filler at all!
I really love this story and cannot wait to read more - please update again, ASAP!

This chapter wasn't dissapointing at all, it was amazing. I'm kinds glad Frank didn't go to the hospital because, as you said, if he did then his dad would have something to hold against the Way's. However, I do hope this hasn't effected his long term health and I hope he isn't seriously. It's so sweet how Gerard was crying - poor thing, he's got so much shit going on in his life!!! Loved it. Update asap :)
