Brothers - Comments

Okie Dokie, this comment is from the judge of the Deathfic Competition I just want to leave a quick comment on each entry. If you want any long reviews on any stories please feel free to Private Message me.

First of all, this was an awesome one-shot. A lot of MCR fics are all Frerards 'omg we love each other' etc etc, now don't get me wrong I love them, but it was so nice to read something completely different.
I think it's a possibilty that if you wanted to extend the story, or even make it a two-shot, it would be awesome to maybe have a flashback to as why Gerard became a killer, but I think for a one-shot, the mystery was good, it left you wondering at why he would do that.
I loved the relationship between the brothers, the way they seemed younger than they were because of the pain, and the confusion. It was quite an original way to portray it.
The ending was amazing, very psychological and saddening. The way Mikey felt towards his brother at the end, the confusion, was very sweet and made me want to cry.
Well done :D

I would have preferred a little more background, although I understand that it's a one shot.

The end coming so fast was a bit of a downside as well, but good job. =]

I think it had fair enough background after all it was a oneshot.

Hmm....pretty good, but I wish that there was more of a background to the story,

Not really my cup of tea, I must admit.
Err, I like longer more complexed and more explained stories.
I had no clue as to why Gerard wanted to kill people, except that he was in love with Mikey and also completely out of his mind.
But there was no real background story to it.
And I feel that even with my, rather huge, edits, it still comes across as if they're only children.
