I got it this time! Wow, Ren sure is shy, poor guy it might take him a while to get used to Ellie. I'm dying to find out when and how Ellie will tell Brian about Danni's death, seriously it's been keeping me up at night, speculating possible outcomes. Anyways, I loved it, especially Ellie, even though she's digging her own grave by prolonging the time before telling Brian. I'm sure he'll be crushed in the end, maybe pissed too, no wait, definitely pissed! Oh man I don't want him to hate her now that they are the perfect father and daughter!

A random thought just occurred to me, is Ellie going to die in the end? I mean kind of like her mother or something. Poor Brian, if that does happen, then he's under a curse whenever things involve a Patterson girl. Well I can't wait to find out!

Wow. I just spent the last to days reading both your stories and all I can say is wow. This is really good! You could get it published I bet. This story has some major harshness and sadness going through it but that's what makes it truly addicting. I really can't wait for the next update! I really hope she tells brian about danni soon! Oh my dear God! I hadn't gotten any of the updates up until now when I randomly decided to check your profile! I had so much to catch up on! I loved it.

The part with Baileys dad dying was really sad. I can't believe that she's becomming a druggie and isn't going back to the band. I still remembered the part when Ellie tore off her shirt on stage from the fiorst time you posted it, but this was fun too. I loved their guitar duel, or rather war. It was so fitting for them. It was sometyhing you would expect a father and daughter rockers to do.

I can't wait to find out what happens next bacause it's already getting to the part where you ended it last time. I can't wait for Brian's reaction. Is Ellie going to drive him blindforlded to a cemetary? That would really be a low blow, but it does seem like the only option sometimes, doesn't it? I loved it. Hopefully next time I'll get the update. XD

That's what I was trying to get at. Ellie grew up in the theatre, so that's all she really knows. It only fits that she burst out into random song and dance

Gah, I loved this. You never fail to surprise me with the amount you seem to get out in a day, you must have this all prewritten or something. How do you find the motivation? I always struggle for motivation, even if I know where I want to go with my stories.

What I meant to say was, I love the way you make the characters consistent and human. So many fan-fics are mainly quotes and "hyper" writing, no real plot or deepth. You could easily show this to someone without any idea who Avenged Sevenfold are and they would still understand, because the characters come accross so clearly.

I meant to make this brief, but that failed. I love this story though, especially as Brian isn't the bad guy in this. He always is.

I actually had this story up last year, but took it down and changed the point of view from first to third. I also added some chapters to make the transition much smoother.

And, a hint to making the characters consistent: make them have a facebook or Myspace and force them to interact with real people. That's what I did, even though both Jared's and Kale's characters are a little up in the air and really don't have that much depth to them.
