This was positively gorgeous! The language of this piece just took my breath away. Every single word had to count in this, and you made it look effortless. It all worked so beautifully. Your descriptions were perfect, to the point where it seemed less like words on a screen to me, and more like a picture being played out in my head. There was almost a sort of sadness in the writing, or another such emotion so difficult to identify. Yearning, perhaps. It was really quite emotional.
The banner was lovely as well, and I liked how dark the layout was. It sort of emphasized the blues in the banner; it all worked together to create this lovely sort of atmosphere. Fantastic job.
:file: I completely overlooked the fact that this was only 100 words. Ahaha... I was like "where is the rest?" I seriously wanted more.
I actually didn't picture anyone in particulat when I read this. Just a really lonlet boy with no one to turn too. Kind of like the sky, a little bit. The recylcled tears line made me come to that conclusion, actually. If you think of a lonely person who has nobody, you'd imagine that they would cry. And everyone says that rain is really God's tears. In this case, the boy doesn't see the sky as God (at least not to my knowledge), but as a friend sort of. And the sky really could be just a lonely as that boy is and it's crying over that. They sky is crying along witht he boy out of lonliness.
That was my interpretation of the whole thing.
PS. The layout is pretty, by the way. And I love the color cyan. It's my second favorite (well... just shades of blue actually) after yellow. I find it funny that you and Hally are my two favorite colors. :tehe: / :arms:
Gah Erika. I loved this. I loved this so so much. It's so abstract and differnt and yet real and it all fits all at the same time. I keep wanting to read it over and over again. I just gives me a funny, special feeling in my heart.
