I'd probably stick with the dark paintings instead of hanging around the colorful ones. :D

What on earth do you mean 'Frank just lost his mental virginity'?

The moral/meaning I got was about the black painting... When Frank first looks at it, it looks boring, gloomy, sad, and black, like nothing. But then he looks closer, and sees all the rich, beautiful colours.
On the other hand, all the too-bright paintings had just a little too much colour, and when he looked closer, it made his eyes water and his head hurt.

I love that metaphor, whether or not you were actually aiming to portray it... I think you were? =)

'Frank looks down at his shoes. They’re new. No one has noticed.' That line was so sad! Cry Beautiful. Made me want to cry. =O

'He’s been abandoned by the one person in his life that actually promised to look after him.' I kinda thought that line was a little over dramatic... but maybe that's okay. Kids do have a tendency to exaggerate things..so on second thoughts, I think it's a good line, if a little odd. :D

So yep, I actually really liked that. =] I loved Frank's sweet little character, and the metaphor with the paintings :cute:

Seriously, it's too cute to be true.
I wish all little kids were like that.
In fact...most of them are annoying.

But I'd love a little Frankie!
I like how Gerard warms up to him, it's sweet.
