Facing The Future - Comments

If there's one piece of advice I can give, it's this: ALWAYS go back to something, even if its a week from now, or a year, or several. Ideas are funny little things that pop up when and where they want, and sometimes they work themselves into things you wouldn't expect. Even if you don't go back and develop this story, you can always recycle the idea and implement it somewhere else.
Good idea Hun! Very good idea. Your advice is very important to me and I will bear that in mind for the future.

In answer to your only criticism; you can obviously see by that that I was starting to get bored with the story. It's one story that I'd love to get back into as I found writing it really interesting. Maybe it's one to edit and dabble into again. Thank you so much, again, for your comments. They're truly inspiring me; Giving me a good idea of where I need to go next etc. mwah xxxx

  • The concept for this one is interesting. I'm already wondering what could potentially happen with the Future Molly. I'm guessing things are going to go downhill?

Your portrayal of a close relationship between Molly and Amelia is great. It's not shoved down the readers' throat, and you can tell through the dialogue and interactions that they are close friends. I really liked the sudden interjection with Amelia's mother when Molly went to collect her things: it was a shift in tone that I didn't expect and took me by surprise.

I hate to criticise, gosh I really, really do, but my only minor criticism would be that the dialogue slows it down in places, but that's something that can always be edited out/in later.

Apart form that, so far this story sounds good :)

  • Hey!!
    wow =D
    Amazing!
The start was a little... confusing, with 'Future Molly' and all, but then my brain figured it out!
I hope you haven't halted this story; it's far too brilliant.

  • I'm really enjoying this so far. It's such a unique idea for a story and your writing is flawless.
I especially love how close Molly and Amelia are. The bond they share seems like epitome of friendship and I just love the relationship they have together.
    Looking forward to more :]

  • What! I'm still the ONLY commenter? Does this mean we're...monogamous? LOL
I like the way you write, hon. I love the fact that some people on here want to write for content and not "just" fanfiction or slash...both of which I admit have their place.

  • Aha! I get to be first comment! (Was it good for you too?)

This is VERY interesting...which I know doesn't sound like much of a compliment...but I like the concept. I don't know if MY older self would have many words of wisdom, but of course I'm nearly 20 years older than you, my girl!

Keep on! Looks good so far!
