This was so powerful and shocking... Sorry, this won't be much of a comment but my mind is blank. It was beautifully written and captivating, kept me interested and intrigued despite my short attention span. Seriously, it was amazing.
:cheese: That was absolutely disgusting, but in a good way. I agree with the above comment, I like how you portrayed Mike as having a kind of child-like trust in Billie.
But mostly, what was running through my head was: OMGNONOTTRE! :tehe:
Ohman. That was totally gross and totally awesome. I found it on the pimping thread. The title caught my eye, because that's what Billie's name always does to me. And then I saw it was you and I knew it would kick ass.
Which it did. It kicked so much ass that I don't think there's any more available kickable ass. :shifty.
The beginning of the story made like, no sense to me, but it was...I dunno. Like I'd regret it if I didn't find out what happened next. Despite how calm Mike sounds when he's telling the story, there's this sense of urgency underneath it all. It's quite captivating, actually.
Also, major propz, homie, on the plot. I lovelovelove awesome AU plots and I lovelovelove villian!Billie. Something that really stuck out was Mike's almost-childish dependency on Billie. His absolute trust in Billie, which comes out from the way he keeps quoting him with "Billie always says". It's just excellent.
It's so short but the characters just have so much character, which sounds stupid but its true. I mean, Tre's character doesn't come out too much except for when Billie says he "wasn't ready", but I suppose there's no other way considering he dies. :shifty.
Billie really comes off as the son of rage and love in this. Especially with all the imagery of him pounding his fists and flying into anger. And the ambition, looking for the treasure in the trash. And how accepting Mike is, how easily he just takes the blame without a fight. I guess that goes back to what I said earlier, it just shows how much he trusts Billie.
And Billie doesn't go back on his word either does he? He had a plan. He was ready, just like he always says.
This was just such an amazing piece. Absolutely, postively amazing. It's just....:cheese:
