This was a really well-written one shot.

I loved the title and how it didn't conventionally fit into the story, and the way you made it twist into a Waycest.

Plus the irony. I adore irony. X]

Wow! What an ending. Amazingly executed! I agree with all the above comments, although I had a sneaky suspicion that the pregnant one, was a guy. Perhaps just an original character. But not Gerard, especially not with Mikey. Ah, the wonders of sudden and possibly double incest! Wonderful, wonderful twist. Oh and I adored the mention of the baby being shy, like Mikey, really that should have given me a hint it was him. But I was just too busy reading to think straight. Only now do I realize how clever the title is, baby love, and Gerard’s mention of them making love. This story was odd to say the least, but I’m a weirdo so I enjoyed it! :arms: xx

Wow, I loved that.

I love the way the characters didn't need to communicate verbally or even look at each other to acknowledge one another's presence and love. It's so sweet

I also love the consistent mystery of who this couple is and the fact that you trick the reader into assuming that it's a normal boy-girl couple. This was done especially well by using, well, actually I'm not sure whose point of view, but they mention their baby bump, and their boyfriend that they're so in love with... which are just typical things a pregnant woman would mention.

And then at the end, the final line is just so... shocking. I mean, not only do you find out that it's a male that is pregnant, but that it's an incestuous, gay relationship. Personally, I really don't like Waycest but I think it was perfectly suited to this story to give it that extra twist. It wouldn't have worked any other way.

The only thing I could possibly criticise is the fact that I wasn't sure, even at the end, whose point of view it was from. I don't know if that was purposeful, and I suppose it doesn't affect the story that much anyway but y'know :lmfao

Oh my God, I loved the twist at the end. It really made me laugh! This was such a sweet story and I really think it captured the excitment of being a parent and the feeling of being a family. It was great, as always, and I wish you best of luck in the competition!
