Oooooh, I'm really liking it so far. I love how you write, I don't really know how to describe it, but everything just flows really smoothly. I really like Alex so far too; she sounds like someone who I would like to hang out with.
At first I thought that the VP's son was going to be the "attraction" but apparently not. I really like Jack, I can't wait to get to know Tyler. :)

Thanks for the input - I'd say it is a little cliché, but the one thing I disagree on is the whole "every boy in school likes me except the one I like" thing. The thing about my story is that's not true. Everyone likes Krista because she's famous, not because of her being Krista. Tyler's different because he doesn't really care. Krista's only popular at school because she's popular in the outside world. Other kids want that to be them, and that's why they like Krista. Krista's never liked the attention, but it gets her what she wants for the most part. This is her revelation that she can either take all or nothing. I hope this clears so of the "cliche" stuff up for anyone who was wondering... and I will also try to add more description to satisfy everyone. :-)

This is good. But I have a few minor problems with it.
Firstly, you arent supposed to use pictures to show your characters. It means the writer doesnt describe them as well throughout the story.
Secondly in some parts theres a lot of dialogue and not all much descriptive stuff. I personally prefer the descriptive stuff to dialouge, it gives me a better picture of where the characters are.
Thirdly, it's kinda a cliché plot isnt it. I mean, youve made it more original by making her the president elects daughter and all. But still, "every boy in school likes me except the one I like". It is really overdone. Just sayin.
Other than that it's pretty good.
