When the cops first came by I thought it was because they had seen him dropping Riley off at school. I'm glad that wasn't the case but it's still not good that they're starting to pock around. Why were they so sad. It's not like they're never going to see each other again, or so I would hope. Though I guess they will be seeing a lot less of each other than they had gotten used to.
