Wow, I like it. Poetically described. For some reason it stood out to me when you wrote that the car smelled of "city blood."

Well, I really liked it. I think it made sense, the differences between cities and countryside. I love the beginning, when it says I felt my heart ripping and unthreading itself away from anywhere I had ever felt secure. And then at the end I’d never really loved New York anyway. It's like the contrast between being petrified of moving but then getting there you realize how much more you love this new place.
It was very well written, and I really liked it! I'm not sure what you could do with it :think:, although I do like it on it's own. Well done! :cute:
Oh and because this was so short I'm going to comment on The Lake House as well.
