Guild the Lily - Comments

I've been so temped to stop reading this story because the whole Patrick Kane bit of this pisses me off so much....but I love the Jonathan Toews part of it, so honestly i'm just skimming past anything to do with Patrick...

Okay, so I've read like 2 paragraphs of this, and I already had to stop and comment. SUGAR YOU WOKE DADDY UP TOO EARLY I JUST AWWED OUT LOUD. I'm such a cat person and I love it.

I only found this story a couple of weeks ago and I loved it. This story was really well written and I never wanted it to end, definitely would be my favourite Jonathan Toews fanfic.

So I just read chapter 21. And must I say what a turn around Mr. Kane has had. I kind of like her with Patrick better than with Jon. The relationship is just different, less intense but yet the feelings still seem as strong. I don't know if that makes sense. It doesn't matter. I might even feel bad for being so harsh on Kara in my last comment. I mean not really though. I still don't like her that much but I might have been a bit harsh. Maybe.

I'm not done with the story yet but I've become so frustrated that I just have to comment. Is she fucking stupid? Yes, Jon should have called her but that is easily something they could have worked on if she really loved him so much. To break up with him in public was the biggest bitch move. Who the hell does that?! To a person they supposedly love. She says that she knows that Jon is her soul mate but yet she still chooses to just go on without him. How freaking dumb when the problem wasn't even that big. He cared about her and made her happy and she walks away because of something so minuscule. DUMB! The whole story she plays this innocent card but then she does weird things like snuggling with one of his teammates, all the while thinking that this would look bad if Jon walks in. Fuck you! She doesn't deserve him! I really never bought her act. After her brother left the story for the most part, I started to notice she wasn't all she seemed to be. And another thing was Patrick. He came across as so weird and creepy. I hated that. I see so much goodness and light within that boy but in your story he was almost scary. I don't want you to get the wrong idea though. I absolutely loved your story. It is an amazingly written, beautifully crafted work of art. The characters were in depth and multi dimensional. The plot was terrific and moved at the perfect pace. And obviously you are doing your job very well since I've become so frustrated with the characters and their choices that I want to scream. Not the mention the naughty stuff is some of the finest that I have ever read. You are extremely talented and I want to make that clear, as it might appear otherwise because I was so pissed when I started this comment. I think you did a really great job. Thank you for sharing your gift. I'm going to go finish the story now. Lol.

I've been reading this story.. for a very long time. I don't think I ever commented, and I wanted to apologize up front for that. I hate crying when stories end, but this is just one of them that you can't help but cry after. It's a beautiful story, and I loved every letter. I cannot wait for the sequel. :]

I seriously cannot believe this story is over. It has to be one of my all time favorite stories and I'm so happy with how it turned out. I cannot wait for the sequel to start. You should know that you are an amazing writer!! Beautiful work!!

This story is so good, I come back and reread it over and over. I think that you should end this story when you feel like it should end and then post the sequel as I just can't get enough of Jon and Kara. You write with such detail and you make it seem like a real relationship with the ups and the downs. Great job, can't wait to see what you decide to do!
