I'll just say it now: gifted high-school stories and teen romance are stories I hardly ever go for, however, there's a lot I can appreciate in this.
First of all, I love Henry's unconventional beauty. I'm a huge sucker for the oddly attractive and get board to tears with generically attractive desriptions (He was tall and muscular with an angular jaw and broad shoulders, etc etc) so that brought me a lot of joy. Secondly, I love how you've portrayed Izzie's power as a hindrence rather than a gift, that's really refreshing. As I've seen with everything else, your writing is smooth, moves quickly and is easy to read.
The only reason I wouldn't follow this story is simply because the genre is just not my thing, but from reading this, it seems a good example of it. :)
Hey Hun. I have to be honest with you; it's one of those stories born out of reading so much other stuff in this style. It was kind of an experiment; could I make it any different to the "same old-same old" stuff? My answer to myself is NO! I've done far better than this in my own opinion.
Thank you so much for reading it; I know how hard it is to read something when you've seen it all before. I applaud you for that and appreciate your critique. What I like us the fact that you've held your hands up and let me know your dislike for this genre, yet you've stuck with it enough to glean some good from it.
