First of all, I would just like to say that I LOVE this story. I've fallen behind -fuck being busy- and I missed this so much<3.
But she did love Patrice; she was as in love with him as someone could be. She still couldn’t believe she was dating a man who had been her favorite member of her beloved Bruins for the past few years. Who knew her silly crush on a man she had never met could turn into the greatest love she’d ever known? She sure didn’t, but one thing was sure; she was glad it had.
This really stuck out to me for so many reasons. For one, I would think like that. It's still really crazy to me that you get me so easily. Like, perfectly. So, either I'm really simple or you're just REALLY good at reading people. I love it.
“What if I want you to be sappy?”
Butterflies. Whhhhhhhy so perfect, Patrice?
“I love you,” she told him, loving how easily the words came from her mouth. And when he responded instantly with an, “And I love you,” she loved how easily the words came from his mouth, too.
More. Fucking. Butterflies. I'm running out of words to explain to you how much I love this story / how amazing it is. I really am. There are only so many words to describe this amazing story and I'm pretty sure I've used all of them. I'm searching for a new way to tell you how much I love it though.
Aw, Patrice all making me un-nocturnal. What a sweet boyfriend. Too bad I don't have him for real... I could totally use a reason to not sleep all day :P
LMAO. The exchange when Patrice gets home is priceless and wonderful. "I don't find that funny at all." I do, Patrice, sorry. Seriously, still shocks me how well you've written me.. I feel like this is really my life... how bad is that? I wish it were really my life hahaha.
Oh, stupid girls. There were so many last year. Some even brought signs. How terrible is that? I like that in the story I think about not embarrasing Patrice... I can't say the same about myself in real life....
It was only a few minutes before Patrice was walking toward her, immediately grabbing her hand as they finished the walk to the car. Once they were both in and Patrice had pulled the car out of the parking spot, he glanced at Amanda and asked, “You want to tell me why you really left practice?”
*melt* HOW DOES HE KNOW SO WELL? God, he really is perfect. Curse you, Lyss. If possible you've made me fall even harder!
^ I'm an incoherent, babbling mess. HE ASKED HER... me... TO MOVE IN? KJSHDFJSKD!!
AND.. THEN.. alkjdhfakjfhskjd.
Okay, seriously. Perfection. That's all I can say about this story, Lyss. Patrice is perfect, the fluffy and drama-free ness of this story is perfect... everything is so perfect. How do you do it?
Patrice, however, was the biggest fucking optimist she had ever met.
LMAO. I love it. Ahhhhhh. akjfhsdkjhfksjdh. Seriously, I knew this was going to happen, I was going to turn into an incoherent mess, why didn't I better prepare myself?
Because it would make this long comment too long, I won't copy the whole charm bracelet scene but OH MY GOD. BUTTERFLIES LIKE WHOA. AKJDFHSKJDHFS. “Of course; that way you’ll never forget me,” he laughed. Seriously. After every chapter I'm like "there's no way this story could get anymore amazing." And then the next chapter comes out and guess what? It's even better than the last one. akjhdfskjhd.
This story is so amazing. The best present, ever. I love it so much and I can't believe it took me this long to catch up. LOVE YOU. THANKS FOR THIS. /freakout
I love this story, I really, really do, but it depresses me too. Like as much as I love it and it makes me giggly and swoon-y, as soon as the chapter's over I'm like "I WANT THAT." And I get bummed because not only do I not have a relationship as amazing as Amanda and Patrice's, but I don't have a relationship period.
*SIIIIIIIIGH*
Anyways, I'm super glad they're going to move into his awesome apartment together. It's a big step!
And HAY SEX SCENE. It is indeed a nice "send off" of her apartment. And, even though they've had sex in Patrice's apartment before, they should "christen" it as Patrice and Amanda's apartment.
Who knew her silly crush on a man she had never met could turn into the greatest love she’d ever known?
I WISH THAT WAS REAL LIFE FOR YOU AND ME AND TWO CERTAIN AAW MEMBERS.
Amanda and Patrice are so amazingly perfect, it makes me feel all warm and gushy and depressed at the same time. I WANT THAT.
Ah, Golden Birthdays. Mine was just over seven and a half years ago. Laaaaaaaame.
And as women, even if we KNOW that a guy is only interested in us, 99% of girls are going to feel insecure and jealous. That's just how it is, unfortunately. But A++++++++++ to Patrice for being amazingggggg. =)
LMAO @ her mom walking in on their makeout session. Haaaa. Classic.
And yeah, you really can't have Christmas without watching It's A Wonderful Life. It's like, illegal.
“I love silver,” she commented as she took the first charm between two fingers.
“It’s actually platinum…” he told her.
LMAO, I read this like Patrice was all "Bitch, puh-lease."
And I love how the bracelet was all associated with HIM. That's kinda awesome, hahahaha.
Oh gosh. Only one more chapter already?? WHERE DOES THE TIME GOOOO?
