I've decided to leave you a proper review, m'dear, since I have not done this in a while and do not find that to be quite fair.

Judai knew that rain typically brought three things: lightning, thunder, and Johan.
First line, beautiful. Totally hooked. I loved how the obviousness of the thunder and lightning kind of off-sets the strangeness that is Johan. Because that kid can be quite strange. XD

Whenever it would rain, whether it be a drizzle or a downpour, Johan would show up outside Judai’s dorm, his clothes drenched and blue hair hanging in his eyes, and ask for Judai to go play with him. And typically, the day after, he’d show up on Judai’s porch yet again and ask the brunette if he’d be sick with him.
I also like how you went right into the explanation of why Johan comes (well, not why, but background information on it, I guess) right after that. And the description of the hair in his face and the wet clothes and everything is awesome. And the day-after sickness. I can see them sitting in the toolshed being sick together so well.

The embarrassment faded, though, when Johan let his own pants fall to his knees, plopped beside Judai, and exclaimed, “I absolutely adore this show!”
lmfao Because that's just us. All of our beautiful awkward. In Love

    “Bitch, no,”
lmfao Good fucking times, Juu-chan. Good fucking times.

One minute, he’s a hop, skip, and a jump away from catching up with Johan, and the next, Judai is covered from toe to mid-thigh in the murky mess. Johan turns around, examining Judai, and winds up falling in the mud from laughing so hard.
Mud. In Love I love how they get all dirty because they're so hyperactive about this even though they've done it a million times before. Some things never get old, I guess <3

“I can fly, mommy!” Judai squeals.

“I don’t believe you,” Johan shouts, jumping off the swing and running towards the open field, giggling crazily all the while. Judai follows suit, tackling the bluenette to the ground and pinning his wrists into the squishy earth. “Say I can fly,” Judai demands, wishing desperately for an extra set of arms to tickle the other until he broke down.

The smile on my face at this point could not be physically measured by any number in existence. I don't know why, but Juudai flying is just... gah. So beautiful. And Johan denying him is just so... I don't know. I could see it all happening. I felt all cold and muddy and windy and flying and it was nice.

I'd call it beautiful, but you already know it is. File

“Judai knew that rain typically brought three things: lightning, thunder, and Johan.”

Okay, so, yes, it was utterly beautiful, from the very first line.

Johan bursting in and pulling down his pants to watch cartoons with Juu is such a Johan thing to do. It really is. Johan is such beautiful guy…since he’s foreign, of course his morals and awkwardness levels are totally different to everyone else’s, but, still; his un-awkwardness is beautiful.

Oh-my-gosh, I seriously laughed at the “Bitch, no,” part, because, really, Juudai totally swears. It’s like, one of the things that happens, but you don’t see it. Like, behind the scenes. Just like Jack/Yuusei shipping-dom. Oh, wait - that totally happens on-screen. Nevermind. ~

You know, everything…everything is just…I can feel it. Not just because it’s cold outside, and I have my heater on, but, I can feel the rain. And I can see Juudai and Johan slipping in the mud and running to the swing set, and I can hear the squeaking of the swings.

    And it’s a beautiful thing.

Thank you for making me smile in the midst of the saddening ending of Outlaw Star, Juu.

You're so silly, Juudai. In Love In Love In Love
Cartoons and rain and mud and swingsets and bloody noses and icy coldness and happy and gah D:
You're trying to kill me with your fluffy cute happy joyful joyness, aren't you, Juu-chan? (and what the fuck at Safari telling me joyness isn't a word. It definitely is.)

But it was gorgeous. I loved it. It made me so happy and I smiled and gushed and melted all over my keyboard. I loved it quite a lot and it was beautiful. Just beautiful.
Serious love for you. I has it. :arms:
