this is fucking incredible. never once have i read a story quite like this. Its beautifully written, from start to finish this was absolutely immaculate. The ending was perfect and absolutely broke my heart, but it was amazing anyway. I love this story, and I love you for writing it.
I still come back to read this story every once in a while and it never fails to always break my heart. It's beautifully written and no matter how sad it is, I just love it and it will always be my favorite.
This story was really beautifully written, especially the ending. Afton dying on her wedding night definitely left me feeling a sense of loss. Although I would have liked to 'see' her in the green dress and read about how the wedding went, I think you wrote her ending at a perfect time, in a sense. I would be interested to know if Oliver ever did find/figure out the password and discover what Afton had written on her laptop.. I wonder what his reaction would be. And I'd like to find out how Oliver copes- if he does cope, that is. Would you ever consider writing a short sequel? I definitely second what Erractic wrote in her comment, although I did feel some of Oli and Afton's bad patches were a little too drawn out in some chapters.
Overall though, I loved the story. You're a great writer. =) P.S Sorry this comment is so long! <3
I loved this story and though it was really good but i hated that she died before they got married that sucked ass! She shouldnt have died so soon but i still loved it ♥
Although the ending was quite heartbreaking, it was nonetheless beautifully written. I appreciate how you took the road less traveled and had Afton die, rather than having her miraculously recover. Life doesn't always work out with fairytale endings. Throughout this story, you both highlighted the flaws in Oliver and Afton's relationship, not just the happiness that they shared. For them, moments of coupled bliss were few and far between, showing that real love isn't easy, nor does it guarantee puppies and rainbows.
In summary, this was a lovely story and I thoroughly appreciated reading it. Thank you for such a wonderful piece of writing.
oh my, that was such a sad ending. i feel like i am going to cry, but it was written soooooo well! you did a fucking great job of the ending and the last sentence was golden, so great. i think it made the story better that she died otherwise it would have just been any old story yano? well this was so amazing and im sad to see it go now but i enjoyed reading it and you did an excellent job of writing it :D
this story was absolutely amazing its one of those stories for me, you just never really happy because there is just so much sorrow and pain in the chapters, and by the time you are done reading the chapter you're crying, and your just wishing for that happy ending even though you know it probably never will come. i'm very upset that she died but i don't think it should have ended any other way, if that make sense. this is just one of those stories you want to be happy, but you just can't, but it's still always going to be one of the best stories you've ever read. much love
i've been reading this since it began & i fell in love with it. it sounds a bit obsessive but quite frankly, i don't give a damn. one of the best stories i've ever read. the ending made me cry & shout at my computer. i love this story, it's amazing.
...Afton's gone? it's heartbreaking & brought me to tears. that's an excellent thing;) phenominal job. i really can't wait until the next post. i adore it:)
I honestly don't know what to say right now. I'd expected the wedding to be a chaotic mess, but Afton dying before she and Oli said their "I do"s had never crossed my mind.
While it breaks my heart knowing that Af is gone, leaving Oli and everyone else to go on with their lives, I'm really eager to find out how they all cope with such a loss.
It's weird because I was thinking of this story this morning and then you updated :) Really surprised and annoyed that you killed Afton off, though I respect your beautiful writing and the knowledge that not every story should have a happy ending.
