This was lovely. For so few words you managed to write a lot. If that makes sense, it probably doesn't.
But what I mean is, you've managed to get so much across to the reader. I love it.
And the way you ended it with a question was lovely, it really got me thinking and I think, if you wanted to, you could continue it from there. But it's perfect being so short. :)

Ok so first off, I hate James Potter with a passion – now with that said, this was a nice little drabble. I like to think that Lilly would regret not having chosen Severus, that if he’d been such a good friend and someone that she cared about she could have excused a slip of the tongue but I guess not. I liked that in the end, even though she was debating she didn’t necessarily regret her choice or decide to go back on it because even though I certainly disagree with her decision, I don’t think it would really be right to leave James like that hot and dry (even if he did deserve it). It’s like she put all her thoughts out there, reviewed them and then said “y’know what? I made my choice and it’s time to let it go” which I think was a very nice ending to this.

    I agree with theGreyWolf.
I love how she's like.. debating on which to choose.
It sets the mood so well.
    .. If that makes sense.
I mean like, I can feel her emotions. Her debating on who to choose.

    Anyway, well written. (:

I love the uncertainty; the last sentence, especially.
    Well written. :)
