I went through and I read the whole story and it wasn't until chapter 29 or 30 that things started to get familiar. I just thought it was a coincidence or something. Then I read the author's note on the last chapter and you said you were finishing it after two years. That's when I realize I had read it before. It's still just as good as it was then but I guess I wasn't subscribed to it or something because I didn't realize there had been and update.

So I spent the last couple of days reading this, but I've been subscribed to it for a while. . .:? Anyways, I finally got around to reading it and I liked the summary and the story was good too. I liked how you ended it and it was just a good story. :)

im a little surprised. i must have 4got that xander's parents lived in california cuz when he told lucian that they were going 2 cali i thought he was going 2 marry him there. lol i was waaaay off ^_^

I really liked this chapter. I had a feeling he was going to tell his parents, marriage just doesn't seem to fit with how their relationship is, not now at least.
I especially liked the fact that it wasn't the father freaking out, but instead his mom, unlike most stories involving 'coming out'. It wasn't completely blown out of proportion either, very realistic.
The ending was adorable too, and not overdone like most stories. Didn't have the ridiculous 'I stared into his eyes rah rah rah.' crap, just the simple "I love you, too."
Anyways, all and all; great update (:
