The prequel to this fiction, or first part, or whatever, is one of my favourite fictions ever, with so much raw emotion in it... and this is the same. There is so much emotion, maybe not to raw and not to obvious, but still equally desperate and just... it's there.

I love how you wrote about something so overcliched and overwritten as cutting and yet it wasn't cliche, it just showed pain.

And I feel so sorry for both of them, not just Kitten, but Whip too because... yeah. It just isn't fair.

I wish that the hope Jess sensed will be there. And in your life too.
