While I feel just a wee bit sorry for Wes (unrequited love is such a bitch of a thing) you can't deny the heart what it wants. And her heart doesn't want him. This was a lovely and emotional chapter; the flashback was done really well. And Bergy there to comfort her...sigh....we should all be so lucky. Looking forward to more!

I just about squealed when I noticed that you'd posted this as well!!! You are just making all my little Bergy dreams come true today, aren't you? lol. As with the first Bergy story, I thought that there was a nice mix of everything in here. I especially like how you weave in the history stuff and give us snippets of background stories. It's intriquing and makes me want to find out more about the characters!!! I especially love the ending, about I wonder if he ever thinks I could be in love with him to (paraphrasing there, but you get what I'm saying) that's so romantic and sad at the same time!
